The Critical Separation Stage in Polyethylene Processing
PE (white thermoplastic granules/powder, excellent chemical & mechanical stability). Slurry process: post-polymerization PE-hexane slurry is separated to recover powder and strip solvent for drying/pelletizing — the centrifuge drives yield, solvent residue, drying energy.
